TYMLEZ and UON Memorandum of Understanding

UON Infrastructure

ASX: TYM

TYMLEZ Group Limited (“TYMLEZ” or “Company”), is proud to announce that it has entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with UON Pty Ltd, to conduct a pilot program to monitor and capture the data to calculate CO2 emissions data from their remote modular Hybrid Energy Systems, located in the Western Australia’s Pilbara Region. These energy systems are used to power important dewatering activities for critical mine site operations.

Leaders in energy and water infrastructure for off-grid sites for over 20 years, UON has developed a suite of pioneering products for the resources sector, working with large-scale mining operators in the Pilbara region of Western Australia.

The TYMLEZ Platform will monitor multiple energy generation and storage sources, including on-site diesel consumption, to calculate a CO2 footprint from UON’s hybrid solar and diesel generation and storage systems, with the data to be securely validated and stored on a distributed blockchain ledger. The data captured and calculated by the platform will be verified to comply with the requirements of UON’s customers.

The pilot is planned to operate for six months, with an option to be deployed as a full commercial solution across UON sites at the end of the period under a five-year exclusivity agreement.

Initially being deployed to calculate the CO2 emissions of a UON dewatering installation on an iron ore mine site in the Pilbara, the TYMLEZ Platform has the potential to provide full transparency over CO2 metrics for the organisation and all relevant stakeholders through a single online dashboard.

Commenting on the announcement, TYMLEZ CEO, Daniel O’Halloran said,

“TYMLEZ is excited to be partnering with one of Australia’s leading integrated energy solutions providers on such an important project. Mining companies across the world are looking for innovative solutions to achieve their net zero CO2 goals, and we hope that our partnership with UON can help empower these companies to have more transparency and trust in their sustainability data.”

The current commercial terms of this pilot programme are not material to the Company, however, the MOU is considered of strategic importance and as the successful completion of the pilot program is expected to lead to ongoing future commercial opportunities with UON.

The TYMLEZ Platform is designed from the ground up to securely store and verify critical infrastructure data and has the ability to scale to meet the needs of the world’s largest organisations.

Authorised by the TYMLEZ Board of Directors.
